Our bleu cheese dressing was a big favorite simply because we made it ourselves, it wasn't bought stuff out Bleu Cheeseof a jug.   If you love good bleu cheese dressing, try this recipe.   It will become your family favorite.

You control the consistency of this dressing.   You can make it as smooth or as chunky as you like.

         1      tablespoon   chopped garlic
         1      teaspoon      dry mustard
         2      teaspoons    onion salt
         1      teaspoon      black pepper
         1      teaspoon      white pepper
        3/4   cup                red wine vinegar
         2      teaspoons    Worcestershire sauce
         1      teaspoon      Tabasco sauce
         2      cups             sour cream
         2      cups             milk
         3      cups            mayonnaise
      1 1/2      pounds       bleu cheese, crumbled

1.  In a large bowl, dissolve spices in vinegar, Worcestershire and Tabasco.  

2.  Whisk in  sour cream and mayo, whisk in milk.

3.  Place one pound of the  bleu cheese in food  processor and add some of the liquid mixture.  Process till SMOOTH.
     Add processed blue cheese mix back to the bowl of salad dressing mix and whisk till completely combined.

4.  Gently fold in the other  1/2 pound of bleu cheese crumbles.

If your dressing is too thick, thin it with a little more milk.
