The recipe for my Kalamata Olive Tapenade is in the Appetizers section. You'll need to make that recipe first before you can make this yummy sauce. Or, you can buy a container of black olive tapenade at the store......but mine is way better!!!

1 cup white wine
1/3 cup shallot -- chopped
3 tablespoons heavy cream
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup black olive tapenade
1. Combine wine and shallots in small saucepan. Simmer till liquid is reduced to about 1/4 cup. (about 10 minutes)
2. Add cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Add butter. Whisk till melted, whisk in tapenade.
Serve over ravioli, toss with pasta, use as a sauce for chicken, etc.
