It is hard to describe just how good it tastes. Of course you may have a certain 'perfume' about you later, but who cares!!!

12 large cloves of garlic -- 1/2 sliced, 1/2 chopped
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
fresh ground black pepper
fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1 pound pasta -- spaghetti or linguine
Slice 6 cloves of the garlic into thin slices. Chop 6 cloves of garlic fairly small. Keep separate.
1. Cook pasta till softened but still very, very chewy. Drain and set aside.
2. In large skillet heat oil. Add sliced garlic and cook over medium heat until starting to turn golden brown.
3. Add Chicken stock, the chopped garlic and pasta. Simmer until liquid is absorbed into the pasta.
4. Toss in the fresh parsley and serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve with a crisp salad and some hot crusty Italian bread....and don't forget the good white wine!
