This was the meatloaf we served every day. We made our meatloaf with ground turkey so that it was lower in fat. The secret to it's rich flavor is adding the beef base granules. You could leave them out but then the meatloaf would be a little 'thin" tasting.
This meatloaf is great as a dinner entree with mashed potatoes and gravy or as a cold sandwich or a hot sandwich with an Italian red sauce like a meatball sandwich.

2 pounds ground turkey
1 medium onions -- chopped fine
1 large celery stalk -- chopped fine
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons dry beef base granules -- or equivalent beef base paste
4 tablespoons catsup
2 large eggs -- beaten
2 cups bread crumbs
3 tablespoons milk
extra catsup for top of loaves
Whisk together eggs, milk, catsup and beef base granules till thoroughly mixed.
1. In large mixing bowl combine all ingredients adding bread crumbs last.
2. Use your hands and mix very very well so that all ingredients are evenly mixed throughout.
3. Spray Baking pan. Shape mix into loaf. Cover with a layer of catsup.
Bake in 350 oven approx 1 hour 15 minutes till thermometer reads 170.
Let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
