This is such a beautiful cake and it makes a fabulous birthday cake for anybody who loves strawberries. It's so pretty it's a shame to eat it!!

1 box white cake mix
1 box strawberry jello
2/3 cup oil
4 large eggs -- room temperature
1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed-- with juice
1. Put cake mix and jello in your mixer. Turn on low and run till completely evenly mixed.
2. Add oil and beat in eggs one at a time. Add strawberries. Beat till smooth and fluffy.
Grease and flour 2 9 inch cake pans. Pour mixture evenly in the pans. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
As cake layers cool prepare your icing.
3. In mixer bowl beat 1 stick melted butter and one box of confecioners sugar. Beat well and then add some thawed frozen strawberries a little at a time until icing is softened. Beat till creamy and fluffy and pink.
Spread between layers and over the outside of the cake. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
